Emergence & Intention (Originals)

We tend to value beauty in two opposite ways:
the effortless and the painstaking.
Nature is admired for the beauty it produces without thought, while art is often
valued for the effort and intention behind it.

Through my work, I try to collapse that divide. Everything humanity has ever created is, in essence, a reflection of the natural world that shaped us in the first place.
My work begins with forces I don’t control and ends with lines I draw
 with precision.
Somewhere between the two, beauty stops being one thing and becomes a relationship.
