This series of 28 artworks that are made in the state of Kerala, India are each a testament to the potential for beauty to emerge from even the most unpredictable circumstances.
The coordinates on each piece (the red numbers and letters) indicate exactly where individual artworks were made.
#1 - #3: 36cm x 12cm (14.2” x 4.7”). Created on Artistico + Fabriano 400 g/m 100% cotton paper.
#4 - #21: 22cm x 14cm (8.7” x 5.5”). Created on Bøtte 300 g/m 100% cotton paper.
#22 - #28: 26cm x 18cm (10.2” x 7.1”). Created on Arches 300 g/m 100% cotton paper.
These original artworks are all sold with unique certificates of authenticity.
If you want to check out yourself where a specific artwork was made, simply copy paste the name of that artwork into Google Maps and it’ll show you the location.
The artworks were made using NONTOXIC ink consisting of carbon(soot) and sap from the leaves of the moon flower to make sure the ecosystem in the water is not affected. Furthermore I only use a few drops of ink of which most stick to the paper
